About 15 years ago, the snowscoot shop "toolate" in Toyama City borrowed a bike from a manufacturer for a week: a "longtail bike" nearly 2 meters long. Blown away by its sheer presence and a carrying capacity said to rival a kei car, I bought the 300,000-yen-plus bike in five seconds. Since then I've joined all kinds of cycling events with my longtail. Not long after meeting the longtail, I'd become absorbed in eating out and had tried about 300 restaurants. Then the owner of toolate asked me, "Why not create a cycling event with food as its theme?" — and that was the start of gourmet cycling! Truth be told, as a student I didn't like the job of "guide." I thought it was boring to just pass on knowledge one way and hard to follow because of all the words only guides know. Now I use my experience as a writer and my qualifications to guide you through the charms of Kurobe and its restaurants in a concise and fun way. - Aqua Sommelier, certified by the Japan Aqua Sommelier Association - Advanced Coffee Meister, certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of Japan - Senior Instructor, Japan Barbecue Association Hobbies I've written for the outdoor magazine site BE-PAL.NET, and I've carefully interviewed every restaurant we stop at. Full of behind-the-scenes stories you won't find in magazines! As an Aqua Sommelier and Advanced Coffee Meister, I share the tour's charms from the perspective of spring water and coffee! Recommended for - People who don't like guided tours - People who love to eat
