Touch shimmering ibushi-gin tiles at an Awaji tile works

Awaji Island tiles come from one of Japan's three great tile-producing regions. Loved for their beautiful lustrous silver color known as "ibushi-gin," they are renowned mainly in Kyoto and Nara. Alongside running a tile works, I'm also involved in farming and running a beach hut, and I'm exploring collaborations in farming, such as growing crops with spent malt as fertilizer. Hobbies Now and then I climb inside the mascot "Ibushi-gawara no Gin-san."
