Source: https://www.nishinippon.co.jp/uploads/image/681554/large_b4912682f8.jpg
Marine Messe Fukuoka, located in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City, is famous as a mecca for event venues. Marine Messe Fukuoka is an arena divided into "Building A" and "Building B," so you don't have to worry about getting wet even on rainy days.
Building A houses a large arena venue, and Building B primarily contains exhibition rooms used for trade shows and other events, which can also be utilized for business negotiations and conferences. In May 2025, events such as artist concerts and dental shows organized by medical associations are scheduled to be held.
The seats in the arena slide and move, so for sports events, there's a stage in the center of the arena surrounded by spectator seating. For concerts and live performances by artists, the stage is on the north side, with the arena seating arranged facing that stage.
Recommended for friends on graduation trips, and for couples who want to get excited at concerts by their favorite athletes or artists!

[Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City] The Fukuoka City Red Brick Cultural Center: A British-Style Venue for Meetings!

Source: https://town.mec-h.com/mh-fukuoka/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/200767_17-1_fukuoka.jpg
The Fukuoka City Red Brick Cultural Center bears a striking resemblance to "Tokyo Station" in its exterior design. This is no coincidence, as the building was designed by "Tatsuno Kingo," the architect behind Tokyo Station and the Bank of Japan Head Office. After serving as a historical archive, it reopened in 1994 as the current "Fukuoka City Red Brick Cultural Center," featuring paid conference rooms accessible to the public.
Although it's British in style, the building also hints at Japan's Meiji era, so you can really feel like someone from that time, and it's even more atmospheric on a rainy day. You can tour the interior for free, so why not relax and enjoy a tea time at the cafe?
Until September 23rd, the "Power Up Unko Museum" is being held.

[Yahatahigashi Ward, Kitakyushu City] Numerous dinosaurs greet you! Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History and Human History

Source: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/42/
Around 4 billion years ago, before life existed on Earth, tiny organisms were born, from which various creatures emerged. It was about 7 million years ago that we humans finally appeared. Although there was a period of extinction for living things, they evolved from those that survived to the present day.
Through these "journeys of life," it's well worth a visit to experience real "life" from the dinosaur era all the way back to the present. In Kitakyushu, fossils of various creatures dating back over 300 million years have been discovered.
At the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History and Human History, you can experience a valuable time learning about these precious lives and touching upon human history!

What first catches the eye is that the building, with its glass facade and smooth silhouette, gives a modern impression. It is dedicated to Japan's long-standing culture and exchanges with various regions in Asia. From the Yayoi period to the present day, the cultural exchange exhibitions are rotated thematically, with ingenious displays that keep visitors engaged.
On Children's Day and other occasions, there are events designed to capture children's interest, such as "Pottery Painting Workshops" where they can freely draw on plates and have them fired, so even if it's raining outside, they can have fun playing inside the museum!
This event offers a wealth of activities for both adults and children to enjoy, including Haniwa crafting and quizzes.
The museum also has a cafe, and the sandwiches with their baked-on haniwa design are delicious!

[Yame City] Popular for being able to view stars with a telescope day or night! Hoshi no Bunkakan! Hoshi no Bunkakan

Source: https://www.hoshinofurusato.jp/files/bgeditor/img/324__aG9zaGlfMjIw.jpg
This "public observatory" is popular because its telescopes are available at any time, whether it's a weekend, holiday, or weekday, allowing visitors to observe stars both day and night. With the renovation in 2017, a 100 cm telescope was installed, making it a truly spectacular sight!
Therefore, even stars that are impossibly far away, invisible to the naked eye, can be seen vividly, allowing you to experience celestial observation that you'll want to see at least once in your lifetime. At "Tenmon Lab," you can explore a variety of information about space and astronomy.
The familiar aliens are here in the building, and you can take pictures with them! There's also accommodation attached, so you can gaze at the stars in the night sky, making it popular with families and couples.
