こんなにあるの?日本に無人島がどれくらいあるか知っていますか 近年、夏の新しい過ごし方として「無人島サバイバル体験」が注目を集めています。今回は、そんな無人島が一体日本にいくつあるのかをご紹介します!Recommended Uninhabited Island in Kansai ① Chi Island (Wakayama)
First, we'd like to introduce Jinoshima Island in Wakayama Prefecture. It's characterized by its beautiful turquoise blue sea, rated "Wakayama Prefecture No. 1," and its pristine white sandy beaches, attracting many swimmers of all ages during the summer.
Access is about an hour and a half from Kansai International Airport or Osaka City. This uninhabited island is also recommended for beginners, as you can enjoy day-trip camping.
Enjoy outdoor activities at your leisure, such as BBQs, camping, hosting events, or renting out the entire island.

Kansai's Recommended Uninhabited Island ② Okinoshima (Wakayama)

Along with Jinojima Island, Okinojima Island is also popular. It has become increasingly popular in recent years for its atmosphere, reminiscent of the Studio Ghibli film "Castle in the Sky."
Actually, in Wakayama, there's a group of islands called the "Tomogashima Islands," which consists of four islands: Torajima, Kamijima, the aforementioned Okinoshima, and Okunoshima.
On Okinoshima, you can enjoy not only nostalgic scenery but also outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. It's about an hour and a half by car from Osaka city. It's suitable for day trips, and with many unpaved roads, it's also recommended for those who want a "real survival experience!"
Kansai's Recommended Uninhabited Island ③ Kurakake Island (Hyogo Prefecture)
Next, we'll introduce Kurakakejima Island, one of the Iejima Islands located off the coast of Himeji City in Hyogo Prefecture. Among the 44 islands, large and small, 40 of them are uninhabited.
You can reach the island by ferry from Himeji Port in about 20 minutes. Because it is surrounded by sheer cliffs, finding a place to set up camp can be difficult, but it is recommended for advanced campers seeking an uninhabited island survival experience, as there are few signs of human activity.
Kansai's Recommended Uninhabited Island ④ Oshima (Hyogo Prefecture)
Futtonjima, also part of the "Ieshima Islands," is another island. It can be reached by ferry from Himeji Port and is a completely uninhabited island with no camping or accommodation facilities.
This island is a hot topic among fans as it offers a genuine "desert island survival" experience, with no electricity or running water. Access is about a 3-hour journey from Osaka, involving a ferry transfer from Himeji Port.
Kansai's Recommended Uninhabited Island #5: Kuryu Island (Wakayama Prefecture)
Lastly, we introduce Kuroshima Island in Wakayama. This is an uninhabited island off the coast of Kushimoto Town, Wakayama Prefecture, where the guardian deity of fisheries is enshrined.
Believe it or not, this island was used as the filming location for the "Suddenly! Golden Legend" deserted island ¥0 survival challenge by the comedy duo Yoiko! With its caves and subtropical trees, you can experience an adventure just like in Golden Legend.

Let's go camping on an uninhabited island in Wakayama using TRAPOL's plan.
