When you think of Awaji Island, you think of seafood! You can experience everything from preparing "safe and secure" farmed flatfish, raised through aquaculture on this land rich in nature.
After touring a farm that looks like a carpet of flounders, we hold live flounders with our hands and slice them with a knife. Finally, we eat the freshly prepared flounder on the spot. Let's not just "eat" Awaji Island's special gourmet, but experience it with our whole bodies.

Want to enjoy Awaji Island with your children! Create lasting memories with original tile lanterns that adults can enjoy too!
Awaji tiles, known as "ibushi-gin" (aged silver). At "Yaniike Tile Factory," you can tour the tile manufacturing process. Create your own lantern using tile clay by pressing your favorite shapes or adding letters; it's a lantern-making experience that even children can easily enjoy. With a little creativity, they can even be used as flowerpots, offering limitless possibilities...!

The finished tile lanterns are delivered to your home after being fired for several weeks, making them perfect for creating family memories.
Also recommended for children's independent research projects. Learn about the history of tiles, creatively add your own unique patterns, and if you submit the finished product as your independent research, you'll surely be the star of the school!

Recommended for sightseeing in Awaji Island on a rainy day! Make an "Aroma Sachet," a fragrant pouch to enjoy the scent of Awaji Island's forests.
In the midst of your hectic daily life, have you ever found yourself longing to experience the scent of nature? For you, who spends your days working on a computer in the city, we recommend "making aroma sachets."
Even with the beautiful nature of Awaji Island, the enjoyment is halved by rain. However, at "Fukuoka Zoen Ryokka," you can experience nature indoors by using materials such as nuts and dried flowers sourced from the natural environment of Awaji Island.

Heal your travel fatigue in the great nature of Awaji Island! Pilates & Earthing at the tourist spot "Keino Matsubara"
Keino Matsubara is one of Japan's leading pine groves, designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty (Agency for Cultural Affairs) in 1928. It is close to the sea where you can enjoy a beach in the summer, and you can also see "Neagari Matsu" (pine trees with exposed roots), which are rarely seen.

At Kino Matsubara, you can even experience the currently popular Pilates. While it's typically done indoors, Pilates outdoors is the best with the refreshing breeze.
This plan allows you to learn Pilates from an instructor and experience "earthing" by walking barefoot on the sandy beach.
Your time at Keinomatsubara will undoubtedly soothe the fatigue of your drive.
