Inside the log house, there are no amenities like televisions often found in public baths; only a domestic smokeless wood-burning stove and benches. After enjoying a lye treatment and thoroughly warming your body, move to the cold plunge bath supplied with water from the underground streams of Mount Kurohime. If the weather is good, it's also recommended to take a dip in Lake Nojiri, just 100 meters away.

The cold bath is commonly known as the "drinkable spring water bath." It is a cold bath luxuriously filled with water that has been filtered over many years from groundwater in the Northern Yatsugatake Mountains. However, another cold bath is adjusted to an average of 16°C so that anyone can enjoy it, making it safe even for those who are not fond of very cold water.

The minimal lighting also allows you to focus on achieving a state of deep relaxation. The cold plunge bath, filled with water drawn from a well, is around 14℃, further enhancing the relaxation experience.

Furthermore, as it is adjacent to a guesthouse, all your needs, from meals to sleep, can be met here. With a location just a 10-minute walk from Zenko-ji Temple, you can either explore Nagano or relax within the facility. You can spend your time however you wish.

In October 2021, "Norikurakogen Sauna N+ Barrel Sauna" upgraded from a tent sauna to a barrel sauna. The clear stream "Odaino River" flowing nearby carries negative ions along with its pleasant murmuring.

The barrel sauna here was handmade as a DIY project using a kit imported from Finland. It's characterized by a comfortable warmth that gradually intensifies from the heat of the wood-burning stove. Enjoy self-löyly with your favorite scent from our selection of aroma oils, filling the sauna room with your preferred fragrance.

After fully enjoying yourself, head to the 100% natural water bath drawn from the mountain stream. Because it's pure Alpine spring water, you can thoroughly cool your body. Afterwards, slip on a sauna poncho and relax in an infinity chair. Soaking in the open air amidst the mountains, you can directly hear the birdsong and the sound of the flowing river, experiencing nature more deeply.

The picture frame-like window frames transform the outside scenery into a work of art, enriching your soul.

The cold plunge bath varies by season: a drum-can cold plunge bath in winter, and a large jacuzzi cold plunge bath the rest of the year. Open-air bathing at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters allows you to enjoy your time while listening to the babbling of the river. As a lodging benefit, there's also a 60-minute private morning sauna for the first two groups on a first-come, first-served basis. While there's no jacuzzi cold plunge bath, it's worth checking out as it costs ¥2,500 per person.

The barrel sauna, which can be enjoyed by up to six people, features a small window offering a captivating view of the Matsumoto Basin. Since it takes time to heat the sauna to a high temperature, those who prefer it hot should book in advance. Afterward, cool down in the outdoor jacuzzi. The water temperature is lukewarm, but it's likely to get colder in winter due to the influence of the outdoor air.

Finally, for outdoor bathing, infinity chairs are provided under four simple tents. Let's enjoy your time together while feeling the pleasant breeze. Please note that reservations for two people may result in sharing a room, so if you wish to have a private experience, book for five people.
